Continuing on...

     Ethan left about 8 am this morning for Casper to start with school stuff Friday morning. He's doing the drive in two pieces, aiming be there sometime tomorrow afternoon. He was making good time, called getting gas in Cheney around 10:45.
    Meanwhile, the fire has calmed down and stopped heading straight for us. They made a fireline to slow things down and got it fairly under control in the Sunlight Waters area, so it never made it to us. Winds have slowed, then picked back up, slowed again. Mom's car got unloaded because it was mostly Ethan's school stuff, and mine unloaded because I had to get to the cancer shirt boxes buried in the back seat. So far it looks like we can basically go back to life as normal, just being aware of what's going on, and having someone close to the phone to answer calls.
     Here's an old map they released yesterday, shows just how close it came, and how far it stretches across the valley. You have to zoom in fairly close to see us, but we are located at the beginning of E Taneum, which if you find the star for E Taneum along I90, we're at the right hand side between 90 and 97....
