Second to Last Group!

     Okay, the update for this week is going to happen in three pieces: 1) Second to Last Group  2) New York City and  3) Memorial Day weekend activities. This is #1 about the week, told through pictures, as it was a fairly easy two days with the group. Kassey, Amber and I worked together to maneuver 140 people around D.C. They were a fantastic group of kids from Massachusetts, and were great to work with as my almost-last group :) The only hang up we had was when the bus missed the turn into the 4-H Center and I got to use my mad directing skills to stop traffic and back up the bus....thank you to growing up on a farm!

Department of Labor building caught on fire after the Capitol Tour while trying to get a group picture. It didn't help at all in getting the kids to look in just one direction, and with 130 of them, that was complicated. 

Ulysses S. Grant Memorial statue, there's a 232 foot pool in front of it as well.
