Crazy weekend 2012 is over!

     Well, it was a tad (or quite a bit) crazy last weekend, but we survived! Got some much needed hugs Friday night, and was reminded that next year my pig kids come before my students :) Haha, gonna see what we can do to make that happen. Overall it was a fantastic weekend! The kids did great, with 7 of the 13 making it to the championship showmanship drive, and I am one incredibly proud 4-H leader after this last weekend. Best part is that I was able to support the 4-H kids and hang out with long lost friends all weekend long!
     Ethan says he's kicking butt in his fitting and showing class. Apparently they study an animal for a few days, take a test, and their test scores determine when they pick out the animal they'll be working with. He was able to get a 90% on his sheep test, beating out many of the sheep kids in his class. Pretty exciting stuff :) It sounds like he is beginning to adjust, but still trying to work out kinks as far as studying and not being too bored....one of these days he'll figure it out.
